If something's broken, Javier's already mentally taking it apart and figuring out how to fix it. It's just how he's wired.
He brings years of hands-on experience across multiple trades — framing, concrete, roofing, painting, structural repairs, mechanical systems, and about a hundred other things that don't fit neatly into a label. His expertise makes him one of the go-to professionals for home repair services in Salt Lake County.
Before JKV Contractors, he worked in team-lead roles on large construction projects, including commercial concrete work tied to major infrastructure builds. Big jobs. Real responsibility. The kind where mistakes aren't an option.
He's also trained in welding and automotive mechanics — which basically means if it has parts, tools, or bolts… he can probably fix it.

Behind every great man, there's an equally great woman who believes in him! That's Karina. She understands how smart Javier is and how capable he is, but she enhances their power couple dynamic with her own impressive skills.
With over 18 years of senior-level professional experience in legal language and business acumen from her roles in Human Resources, operations, compliance, and risk management, Karina knows how businesses are run and how to keep them organized!
She also has more than 15 years in the insurance sector.
So if you ever find yourself asking, "Hey… random question about my home insurance…"
She's genuinely happy to help point you in the right direction without a sales pitch — just useful answers. Because informed homeowners make better decisions, and we like to be helpful.
