JKV Contractors · Salt Lake County
Patches that blend. Texture that matches. Walls that look like nothing ever happened.
Drywall repair sounds simple until you try to do it yourself. The patch goes in fine, but then the texture doesn't match, the paint sheen is off, and now you have a ghost of the original problem staring at you every time you walk by.
Javier has done enough drywall work — on remodels, basements, water damage repairs, and full room installs — to know that the finish is everything. He takes the time to feather the compound properly, match the texture, and prime before painting so the repair truly disappears.
Whether it's a doorknob hole, a section damaged by a leak, or a full room that needs new drywall hung and finished, we handle it with the same care. No shortcuts, no visible seams.
Scope of Work
The JKV Difference
The hardest part of drywall repair is matching existing texture. Javier has the experience to get it right — not close enough, actually right.
Drywall work is dusty. We contain it, clean up after ourselves, and leave your home the way we found it — minus the damaged wall.
We don't just patch and walk away. We prime the repair so your painter (or you) gets a surface that takes paint evenly.
How It Works
We look at the scope — size, depth, whether there's underlying moisture or structural issues that need addressing first.
Proper backing, mesh or paper tape, multiple coats of compound — done right, not rushed.
We sand smooth, then apply texture to match the surrounding wall as closely as possible.
We prime the repair so it's ready for paint. If you want us to paint it too, we can do that.

Got Questions?
Yes — we can spray or hand-apply popcorn texture to match existing ceilings. We'll also let you know if removing the popcorn entirely is a better option for your situation.
Absolutely yes. We won't install new drywall over an active moisture problem. We'll help you identify the source and make sure it's resolved before we patch.
Each coat needs 24 hours to dry fully before sanding and the next coat. A proper repair takes 2–3 days from start to prime-ready. Anyone promising same-day is cutting corners.
Yes — we can include painting in the scope so the repair is completely invisible when we're done.
